A Legacy of Leadership

Soumik’s career is defined by breaking barriers and setting new standards. As a player, he is a veteran of 53 First Class (Ranji Trophy) games, where he captained the Services Cricket Team to the Ranji Trophy semi-finals in 2012-13 a historic feat achieved after a gap of 50 years.
He successfully transitioned this leadership from the field to the dugout. As Head Coach, he led the Services team to the semi-finals of the Vijay Hazare Trophy (2021-22) for the first time in their history.
