At Trishakti Youth Hub, we believe that female athletes deserve specialised mentorship from women who have walked the path before them. Meet Manju Bhandari, a BCCI Level-1 Certified Coach with over 8 years of experience in coaching, team management, and talent selection.
The ‘Selector’s Eye’
What makes Manju unique is her extensive experience on the other side of the table as a Selector.
State Selector: She has served as a Selector for the Uttar Pradesh (UP) Senior Women’s Team, U-23 Women, and U-19 Women.
The Advantage: She understands exactly what state boards are looking for in a player. She trains our girls not just to play well, but to tick the specific boxes required for state and national selection.
A Proven Winner
Manju instills a winning mentality in her students. Her track record in team management speaks for itself:
Championship Victory: She was the Manager of the Uttarakhand U-19 Women’s Team that won the championship in 2021-22.
State Leadership: She has managed the Uttarakhand Senior Women’s Team (2018-20) and served as the Assistant Coach for the U-19 squad.
Academic & Playing Excellence
Manju combines technical cricket knowledge with formal education in sports training.
Education: She holds a B.P.Ed (Bachelor of Physical Education) from Bhopal University and an M.A. from HNBG University, ensuring her training methods are scientifically sound and age-appropriate.
Player Experience: A seasoned campaigner, she has competed in North Zone and Central Zone tournaments and secured 1st Place in the Senior UP State Super Eleven Championship (2005).
A Role Model for Girls
Having worked as a Cricket Coach at residential schools like Tula’s International School, Manju understands the emotional and physical needs of young girls living away from home. She is not just a coach; she is a mentor, a guardian, and a role model who ensures the Girls’ Wing remains a sanctuary of discipline and comfort.
